‘Apollo XXI’ album launch – social assets (Concept)
For this concept design, I took inspiration from artist Steve Lacy’s debut album, Apollo XXI. This set of social graphics would be released leading up to the launch of his project. to help garner some interest. The primary inspiration for the concept were music posters of the 70s which is why I utilized a technique that made each graphic look like it was printed on paper in ink. Colors and other design elements were also inspired by design of that 70s era. – This project was purely for a concept and was not used by the artist.
